Aware of Great Bear’s passion for employee development, ACS Recruitment – a long-standing workforce provider for Great Bear – suggested Northampton College could be the perfect partner to help them achieve their ambitions of upskilling their staff at their Swan Valley site and providing them with real progression opportunities.
After a series of initial meetings to fully understand Great Bear’s needs, a tailored training programme was developed by Northampton College, offering Great Bear employees the opportunity to complete an Apprenticeship programme in either Team Leading or Warehousing and Storage.

26 members of staff are currently signed up to the scheme which is due to start shortly and the 12 month course will be delivered by Northampton College staff on-site at the Great Bear premises in Swan Valley.
